As a Managing Director at FirstHired, Jess has played a key role in the rapid growth of the firm. With more than 14 years of experience in the executive search industry, Jess is an expert at coaching job seekers in all aspects of career development. Throughout his career, Jess has successfully completed hundreds of searches and has had direct involvement in every element of the hiring process. It is this experience that has helped him to not only be successful in the executive search business, but also to be an expert at teaching people the fundamentals required to build a lasting career.

Prior to joining FirstHired in 2006, Jess spent five years at BridgeGate, one of the premier retained search firms in the U.S. As a Managing Director, he successfully built the firm’s marketing recruiting practice. Jess was a President's Club member and consistently ranked in the top 5 percent of over 35 recruiters throughout his career at BridgeGate.

Jess began his recruiting career at Cory and Associates where he spent five years successfully building teams for a variety of both Fortune 500 companies as well as early stage companies. Jess is a native of Orange County and in his spare time he enjoys snow skiing, dirt bike riding, boating and music.
