Since 1994, Nick has helped both individuals and corporations gain a competitive advantage in the job market. With more than 15 years in the “executive search and career counseling arena,” Nick has interviewed thousands of job seekers and met with hundreds of hiring managers. His direct involvement in the hiring process has resulted in hundreds of successful placements. Nick’s field experience with both Fortune 500 companies and startups taught him exactly why certain people consistently win more jobs and go on to build successful long-term careers. It was also this experience that led Nick to the “proven system” that became the foundation for the FirstHired workshops. In addition, Nick has been called on as a "career expert" by the Wall Street Journal, Wired Magazine, New Horizons Learning Centers and many Fortune 500 Companies.

In 1999, Nick founded First Round Search and has positioned the company as one of the premiere search firms in the United States. First Round Search has helped build teams for many of the largest companies in the U.S. including: IBM, Cisco Systems, Network Appliance, BMC, 3COM and hundreds of startups. In 2004, Nick applied the proven principles learned throughout his career and began building the curriculum for FirstHired. Over the years, hundreds of job seekers have used these principles to gain a competitive advantage and become experts at reaching their career goals.

Nick began his recruiting career in 1994 with Bridgegate Group, one of the largest search firms in California. Nick was a five-time President's Club Winner.

Nick is originally from New Jersey and relocated to Newport Beach, CA in 1986. Nick holds a B.S. in Management Science from Kean University of New Jersey. He was a four year starter on their nationally ranked soccer team and in 2002 was inducted into the Kean University “Athletic Hall of Fame.” This is awarded to student athletes who have exhibited excellence both athletically as well as academically. Less than one percent of all student athletes achieve this honor.
